At Like Home Early Learning Centre our 'whole of centre' sustainable approach includes:

 

Inspiring children, families and our staff to initiate and achieve tangible sustainability through education, workshops, hands on learning, displays and action plans.

Natural areas for children to explore

Including art activities using natural products

A vegetable garden

Recycling included as an everyday practice

Children taking on roles such as water monitors to help reduce our usage of natural resources

Creating, maintaining and updating a sustainable action plan in consultation with children, families and staff
